Changing Hearts, Changing Lives
Rev 1:18

I was born August 13, 1970 in Paducah, KY. My father was William T. Riley, my mother is Cindy Lou Martin. I was raised in Morganfield KY until the age of five. My father worked at Job Corps as an RA and an instructor. He was an alcoholic and made life very difficult for our family. We moved to Madisonville and then to Eddyville, KY when I was thirteen. After I turned fifteen, my father died of a heart attack. My spiritual birth took place when I was eight years old. I was attending Bible School at my grandfather's church, Caldwell Springs Baptist Church in Crittenden County. During the week, I knew something was wrong and by Friday when I went to my grandparent's home for lunch, my grandmother asked me about it. I went and prayed with my grandfather by his bed. I was baptized in the Ohio River God protected me from violence, fighting, and being shot. He has always provided for me and was a comfort to my troubled soul. I remember, when in Morganfield, going to get help for my mom when I was four years old. It was winter and my father had beaten her and split her nose, it took 27 stitches to fix. I remember riding with him while he was drunk and listening to him and my mother argue over booze and money. One of the most dramatic moments I can recall is when I stood between my parents with a .38 caliber pistol to my face so they would not kill each other. I married Debra Demoss, who is from Union Town, just a few miles from Job Corps, on July 14, 1990.We have three beautiful children together, Thomas, Emma, and Caleb. God has done everything in my life to put me where I am. I followed the advice of a former pastor who used to say "Everyone ought to back themselves in a corner and ask, why do I do what I do?" As I thought of the faces of those at Job Corps whom I had been meeting with, I asked myself, why? Ultimately, because "Hell is Real" and if we do not share the love of Jesus with them and everyone we meet, that is where they are destined. As I searched for a reference from God's word to back that up, I did not want to give Satan any glory. God showed me a verse that I believe sums it up. Hell is real, but the love of Jesus is more real. Revelation 1:18 tells us He has the keys to death and Hell, He has done it all! We just need to convey that Jesus is the answer.
While I was finishing up my second year of college I
began to pray that God would show me where to finish my last two years. As I
began to pray about it I had several people talk to me about going to
Mid-Continent University. When I came up for a campus visit there was no doubt
that it was where I was supposed to be. I knew though, it was for another reason
than just to go to school. For a while, I couldn't figure out what it was. Once
school got started I began to do a few weekend programs every now and then with
HR Ministries. A few weekend programs became a once a week deal. The more I
worked with them the more I realized that HR Ministries was the other reason
that God moved me to KY. It is an amazing opportunity to be discipled, to
disciple, and let God work thru you. I am currently serving as a NAMB semester
missionary with H.R. Ministries. I have received B.S. Degree in Counseling and
Psychology from Mid-Continent University in the May of 2008.
I started working with HR Ministries in the spring of 2003 at the Greenville job corps campus as a librarian and tutor. I also helped with special events until July 2006, when my time slot for library and tutoring was closed. I had left God calling me to something more for some time. In July of 2007 the office of HR Ministries was finally opened and I went to work as the Administrative Manger and I still help with the special events. I started serving at the W.K.C.C. with the Returning Hearts Celebration and Awana program in February 2008. I was appointed a MSC Missionary and knew then that God had placed that call upon my life in 2003. In August of 2008 I retired and became a full time volunteer at HR Ministries. God has blessed me so much through this ministry and He will bless you too, come join us.

I am 20 years old and a sophomore at Murray State University majoring in Elementary Education. I felt called to be a teacher and love working with children. However, I surrendered to the ministry in October 2008. I'm not too sure God's specific all on my life and what area He would place me in. In Genesis 12:1 God told Abraham "Go! To the place I will show you." That is my prayer currently as I strive to seek God's will every day. God has blessed me with His word and a love for preparing and preaching His word. I am currently praying and seeking opportunities in the pulpit or other speaking opportunities, and can be available if needed.
I, Stan Bramblett, 57, was saved when I was age 13 on a summer Sunday morning at DeHaven Baptist Church in LaGrange, Kentucky. I had a Sunday school teacher named Mr. Bryant and he led several of us young boys to the Lord! I was just a typical young boy, but I knew I was lost and needed Jesus. Bro. A. L. Meacham baptized me in the summer of 1964. I married my high school sweetheart during my sophomore year at Eastern Kentucky University. Shortly after that she gave birth to one of our two children. He was two months premature. This changed my life forever. I had to leave college with just an Associate Degree in Agriculture, with a specialty in Horticulture. I took a job in Ft. Myers, Florida and left college in the winter of 1972. We immediately became active in Central Baptist Church in Ft. Myers. It was there that I felt God's call into the ministry. This was around 1974. I did not answer that call! I reasoned with God about finances and how I needed to get some medical bills paid off first. Satan entered our marriage and a divorce followed in 1978. I moved back to Kentucky in the summer of 1980. I remarried in December of 1981. However, it took me a long time to get my life back together to the point that I was serving the Lord again. My new family always attended church but I never really got involved. I had shared over the years that God had called me into the ministry, but I never was counseled in the right direction. In my new family, God gave me a daughter and a wonderful wife, Trudy. In April of 1996 we had a revival at Southside Baptist Church in Princeton, Kentucky. We were all challenged by the Evangelist to read God's Word on a daily basis. I had read the Bible through when I was 21. I took the challenge and started reading God's Word every day. I have not missed a day since April of 1996! Since then I have been through the Bible 13 times. I love reading the Bible. I feel that was the beginning of God cleaning me up and directing my path back to where He could use me. In December of 2008 I finally surrendered my life totally to my Lord and Savior and answered his call. Since then I have been on a whirlwind of a ride. I have enrolled at Mid-Continent University and will have a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry by October of 2010. I am now serving with HR Ministries of Princeton in the capacity of Volunteer Minister at the Job Corp in Greenville, Kentucky. I am preaching there every Sunday morning and God has been so good. I went with HR Ministries to Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola…what a blessing! God is SO good!!! We just finished our 3rd annual Marathon Bible Reading in Caldwell County, of which I have been the chairman for three years. I never want to turn God down! When God presents an opportunity, I take it! My three children, Shannon, Jason, and Erin are born again! God is SO good! Two verses I have claimed; 1 John 1:9 and Philippians 4:13! God cleanses and through Him I can do all thing!
We serve on the Whitney M. Young Campus in Simpsonville, Ky. We are on the campus every Sunday to pick up students to take to church. We also spend Tuesday's tutoring from 1 till 3. On Wednesday we are on the campus at 5:30 to meet with the new students. I also emphasis that it takes dedication and hard work to complete their trade and not to let things on campus distract from what they area there to accomplish. We give out welcome gifts to new students and work with the mentors. We go, we always try to encourage everyone to continue to be positive and to remember Phil. 4:13, that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them.
I work with the ministry on a weekly basis dealing with WKCC. I help with the Awana Handbook Program on a monthly basis and with Parenting Thru Awana on a weekly basis.
